Kimball Sr. Dining Menu April 28-May 2

Monday: Turkey club sandwich, cream of broccoli soup, steamed carrots, warm apple slices.

Tuesday: Swedish meatballs, parslied potatoes, country trio vegetables, wheat bread, frosted cake.

Wednesday: Chef’s salad: lettuce, meat, cheese & vegetables, dinner roll, cereal bar.

Thursday: Pulled BBQ pork sandwich, potato salad, Scandinavian blend vegetables, grapes.

Friday: Fish fillet/bun or baked chicken breast/bun, baked beans, lettuce salad, pineapple.

Euchre anytime there are enough players

1% milk is served with every meal. Menu is subject to change. As of Jan. 1, 2014, suggested contribution for persons 60+ and volunteers is $4, or what you can afford. Guests under 60 pay $7.50. 

REMINDER: When there is a choice of entree on the menu, you will receive the first one listed UNLESS you notify us. The coffee pot is on by 11:15 a.m. every Wednesday.

Monday-Senior Club “500”: Hamburger Stroganoff, noodles, green beans, cole slaw, warm peach cobbler.

Tuesday-Flower Garden Party: Chicken salad on a bun, vegetable soup, blooming fruit medley, lemon cake.

Wednesday: Pork roast, whipped potatoes w/gravy, country trio, wheat bread, sliced pears.

Thursday: Breaded chicken, parslied potatoes, broccoli salad, butterscotch chip cookie.

Friday-Bingo: Meatloaf, scalloped poatoes, sweet potatoes, wheat bread, applesauce.

Please call at least one day in advance. Meals may be picked up.

Monday: Turkey casserole, peas, tropical fruit, bread/margarine, bar, milk.

Tuesday: Sweet & sour pork, rice, broccoli, Mandarin oranges, cookie, milk.

Wednesday: Baked chicken, potato salad, mixed vegetables, bread/margarine, blushing pears, milk.

Thursday: Meatballs/gravy, mashed potatoes, beets, bread/margarine, fruit crisp, milk.

Friday: Meaty beef stew with carrots & potatoes, cole slaw, breadstick/margarine, dessert, milk.

Suggested donation for those
60 or older is $4, under 60 is $7. Eden Valley diners are served at the Civic Center (attached to the city offices building), and should reserve a meal by calling Mary Lou Newcomb at (320) 453-8375. Watkins diners are served at
St. Anthony Manor, and should call Peggi Gohman at (320)
764-5615 for reservation by 1 p.m. the day before your meal. Both sites serve at 11:30 a.m. Monday through Friday. This service is through Lutheran Social Service, funded in part by a contract from the Area Agency on Aging with funding from the Federal Older Americans Act through the Minnesota Board on Aging.

Spring Garden Party at Senior Dining

Kimball Senior Dining welcomes you to join us for Spring Garden Party Tuesday, April 22. This will be at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Kimball. We will be serving chicken salad on a bun, vegetable soup, blooming fruit medley and lemon cake. Our modest $4-$7.50 suggested contribution for seniors 60 or older with completed paperwork, although anyone under 60 can join in for the full $7.50 meal cost. Please note if you bring children 10 or younger, they can join in for a cost of only $4. Please come early to get a good seat.

Monday: Swiss steak, baked potato w/sour cream, harvard beets, wheat bread, vanilla pudding.

Tuesday: Roast beef, whipped potatoes w/gravy, carrots, honey wheat dinner roll, brownie.

Wednesday: Oven roasted chicken, calico beans, cucumber slices, carrot sticks, wheat bread, Mandarin oranges.

Thursday: Liver & onion w/gravy or diced turkey gravy, whipped potatoes, seven layer salad, dinner roll, pineapple tidbits.

Friday-Dining Site closed-Good Friday
