Kimball Sr. Dining Menu Aug. 18-22

 

Aug. 18-22

Monday-Senior Club & 500: BBQ riblet, O’Brien potatoes, California blend vegetables, wheat bread, applesauce.

Tuesday: Chicken Caesar wrap, hearty vegetable soup, banana.

Wednesday: Roasted chicken, whipped potatoes w/gravy, steamed carrots, dinner roll, sherbet.

Thursday: Porcupine meatballs in tomato sauce, steamed cabbage, rice pilaf, zucchini chocolate cake w/whipped cream.

Friday: Swiss steak, baked potato w/sour cream, beets, wheat bread, cantaloupe.

Euchre anytime there are enough players

1% milk is served with every meal. Menu is subject to change. As of Jan. 1, 2014, suggested contribution for persons 60+ and volunteers is $4, or what you can afford. Guests under 60 pay $7.50. 

REMINDER: When there is a choice of entree on the menu, you will receive the first one listed UNLESS you notify us. The coffee pot is on by 11:15 a.m. every Wednesday.

Please call at least one day in advance. Meals may be picked up.

Monday: Beef tips/gravy, noodles, peaches, broccoli, bread/margarine, cookie, milk.

Tuesday: BBQ pork, potato salad, cauliflower, bun/margarine, fruit crisp, milk.

Wednesday: Roast turkey, mashed potatoes/gravy, green beans, cranberry sauce garnish, strawberries, milk.

Thursday-Summer’s Bounty Picnic: Chicken breast, creamy cucumbers, fresh fruit, bun/margarine, 2” zucchini dessert, milk.

Friday: Country steak, whole potatoes, squash, bread/margarine, pudding, milk.

Suggested donation for those
60 or older is $4, under 60 is $7. Eden Valley diners are served at the Civic Center (attached to the city offices building), and should reserve a meal by calling Mary Lou Newcomb at (320) 453-8375. Watkins diners are served at
St. Anthony Manor, and should call Peggi Gohman at (320)
764-5615 for reservation by 1 p.m. the day before your meal. Both sites serve at 11:30 a.m. Monday through Friday. This service is through Lutheran Social Service, funded in part by a contract from the Area Agency on Aging with funding from the Federal Older Americans Act through the
Minnesota Board on Aging.

Tuesday: Pork roast, red-skinned potatoes w/gravy, squash, wheat bread, grapes.

Wednesday-Birthday Cake: Salisbury steak, hashbrowns, green beans, pudding.

Thursday: Meatloaf, scalloped potatoes, summer salad, wheat bread, butterscoth chip cookie.

Friday: Fish fillet sandwich, seasoned potato wedges, Scandinavian blend vegetables, lemon chiffon.

Tuesday: Hamburger-tomato casserole, corn, Mandarin orange whip, bread/margarine, cookie, milk.

Wednesday: Grilled chicken wrap with chicken, shredded lettuce and diced tomatoes/mayo, melon cubes, potato salad, 2” bar, milk.

Thursday: Baked fish, macaroni & cheese, country blend vegetables, pears, raspberry parfait dessert, milk.

Friday: Salisbury steak, mashed potatoes, carrots, bread/margarine, blushing pears, milk.

Tuesday: Chicken chow mein, rice, Oriental vegetables, Mandarin oranges, fortune cookie.

Wednesday: Roast beef, whipped potatoes w/gravy, carrots, wheat bread, banana cream pie.

Thursday: Liver & onions or hamburger patty w/gravy, whipped potatoes w/gravy, mixed vegetables, wheat bread, pineapple tidbits.

Friday: Tuna noodle casserole, green beans, warm fruit compote, brownie.
